For those who want the extra weight of a solid guide rod while allowing the wide variety of weights available for 1911 springs.  These guide rods are for service (4") XD models ONLY and will require coil trimming from full size 1911 springs.  Only recommended for lighter loads.  Not for the Mod2.  Mod2 Tactical uses the XDM guide rods.
